School Minibus Bookings

From September 2023, bookings can only be made for morning journeys every day of the term.

Parents/guardians must place bookings via the St Michael's home to school transport website. The booking window will open for bookings ahead of each term. Sufficient notice for placing bookings will be provided to parents.

StudentSafe offers places on its minibus service, based on bookings and payments being completed, on a first-come, first-served basis. StudentSafe will do its utmost to accommodate all requests for use of the service.

Journeys booked but not taken are non-refundable.

Amendments / Cancellations

Changes should be made via the StudentSafe Parent Portal. Please see FAQs for more information.

All bookings are termly and will be required to be booked in advance of each term. If you wish to cancel your child's minibus provision part way through the term, you will still be chared for the full amount for the remainder of that term.

Use of the Service

Pupils can only travel on the route for which they are registered.

Parents/guardians are asked to remind their children that when travelling on the minibuses they must adhere to the St Michael’s Behaviour Policy (please see St Michael’s Prep website in policies) and StudentSafe Code of Conduct detailed below.

Changes to Service

St Michael’s Prep reserves the right to make route alterations after publication, but will provide notice of any such action.

Payment & Charges

The cost for the journeys is £930 for the term, which is a flat rate, regardless of the number of journeys booked.

Payment will be handled by StudentSafe and will be taken at the time of booking to confirm your child's/children’s seats for the whole term. Payment must be made via debit/credit card on the booking portal for the upcoming term.

Lost Property

Should a pupil leave any item on a minibus then parents should contact StudentSafe via email on stmichaelsprep@studentsafe.com to report the loss providing the bus route and a description of the item(s).

StudentSafe will contact the bus company to find out if the item has been found. Pupils can then collect the item on the next run.
